Our Mission

Lending for Evanston and Northwestern Development (LEND) is a student-run, microfinance organization that  empowers entrepreneurs in Evanston to build businesses, create jobs, and reach financial self-sufficiency.

By providing access to microcredit and business development services, LEND is devoted to connecting the  Northwestern and Evanston communities under the shared objectives of aiding businesses, economic development, and social change.

Though we come from different backgrounds, our passion for LEND and our community is the common thread that binds us together.
